Wedding Anniversary | 15 August 2026

Our Story

Where it all began

What began as a meeting of two hearts soon became the weaving together of two rich cultures, where Zulu boldness met SePedi elegance, where tradition danced with tenderness, and where love was not only spoken, but consistently shown through loyalty, gentleness, laughter and unwavering commitment.

Because the greatest love stories are never rushed.

They are cultivated like sacred gardens. They are nurtured with care, protected through every season, and rooted deeply in purpose.

There is no greater love than finding the perfect flower and choosing, every single day, to water it, protect it and let it bloom beautifully beside you for a lifetime.

And now, here we are – gathered to honour a love so rare, intentional and true.
Join us as we celebrate a beautiful union, a renewal of promises, and a love story that continues to bloom beyond time.

Gifts

Indishi Gifting Ceremony

Indishi is a beautiful Zulu cultural tradition starting at 15:30 (immediately following our vow renewal), where loved ones dance together to shower the couple with financial blessings inside a communal dish. Far more than a simple gift, this sacred ceremony is a profound expression of love, honor, and community solidarity, meant to bless our enduring union and wish us prosperity on our continued journey ahead. NB: To participate in this joyous cultural celebration of love and well-wishes, please remember to bring physical cash, though guests who prefer to honor us with traditional gifts or gift vouchers are also most welcome to do so!

While we don’t have a formal gift registry, if you’d like some inspiration, we would be grateful for gifts or gift vouchers from any of the following stores:
